Jeremias Cordoba has been a coffee producer for over 20 years on La Esperanza in the Huila region of Colombia.
After picking, his coffees undergo 24 hours of fermentation after pulping, before a final rinse, when they are laid out to dry in full sun.
This Caturron varietal is a rare and sort after cherry, due to its Leaf rust resistance, relatively high yield, and complex cup profile. Discovered by accident after a random genetic mutation of the Caturra varietal, it is exclusive to Colombia and is a rare find on any farm.
