Fazenda Barreiro is an extensive coffee estate located in Minas Gerais’ Sul Minas region. A long history of coffee production - dating back to 1820 - has resulted in the refined agronomy and processing techniques that shine through in the cup.

When the cherries are ripe, the coffee is picked either manually or with mechanical pickers. The cherries then travel to the wet mill the same day for washing, sorting and pulping. Before being spending three days on a concrete patio where they are turned 15 times a day to ensure even drying. By day three, they are taken to suspended covered terraces for further slow drying, before being taken to rotary driers on day six until 11% moisture is achieved.

This has been a long standing favourite in the roastery for its incredible cup quality. Fruity, juicy, rich and drinkable all day long, you can never go wrong with this wonderful lot!
